1) -6k + 7k = k (Think of this as -6 + 7, since they share the variable k.)

2) 12r - 8 - 12 = 12r - 20 (You can combine the constants in the equation.)

3) n - 10 + 9n - 3 = 10n - 13 (You can combine the constants and combine those with the variable n.)
