There are 2.54 centimeters in 1 inch. How many centimeters are there in 1 foot? In 1 yard? Explain your reasoning.

there are 12 inches in a foot. You would have to multiply 2.54 by 12 and get 30.48 centimeters. in a yard there are 3 feet which means there are 36 inches. You would multiply 36 by 2.54 and get 91.44 centimeters.
